NCT ID NCT07473635

First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting Botox around major nerves in the arm or leg can safely reduce pain in people with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a chronic condition causing severe pain and sensitivity. Twenty adults with CRPS for at least 6 months will receive a single ultrasound-guided injection and be followed for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if the procedure is practical and safe, with early signs of pain relief explored for future larger studies.
