First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times

Summary

This study is testing whether injecting a type of Botox near major nerves can safely reduce pain in people with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), a chronic condition causing severe pain and disability. Twenty adults with CRPS in one arm or leg will receive a single ultrasound-guided injection and be followed for 12 weeks. The main goal is to see if this approach is practical and tolerable enough to test in a larger study.
