Summary
This study tested different combinations of antiseptic mouthwashes and air-polishing powders to treat peri-implantitis, a gum infection around dental implants. 64 adults with at least one implant and signs of infection received one of three treatments over a month. Researchers measured changes in gum pocket depth, bleeding, and bone loss to find the most effective cleaning method.
