Dental implant infection study tests surface smoothing technique

Summary

This study tests whether smoothing the rough part of a dental implant during surgery helps control infection better than standard cleaning alone. About 35 adults with gum infection around at least two implants will take part. The goal is to reduce bleeding and improve gum health, but ongoing care is still needed.
