First seen Jun 12, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests if using an electric cleaning method during surgery can better treat peri-implantitis, an infection around dental implants. About 80 adults will receive standard surgery with or without the extra cleaning. Researchers will measure gum pocket depth and signs of infection over 24 months to see which approach works best.
