Summary

This study looks at whether taking off the artificial tooth (crown) makes non-surgical cleaning more effective for gum disease around dental implants. About 36 adults with infected implants will be treated and followed for a year. The main goal is to see if removing the crown leads to shallower gum pockets and better healing.
