Summary
This study looked at how people with gum infections around dental implants perceive their condition and how it affects their quality of life. Researchers recruited 148 adults with at least one dental implant and signs of gum infection. Participants answered questionnaires about their symptoms and daily-life impact. No treatment was given; the goal was simply to understand patient experiences better.
