First seen Jan 20, 2026 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a single session of ultrasound-guided percutaneous neuromodulation (a needle-based treatment) can help hockey players with mild adductor (groin) injuries. Eleven players with grade 0 injuries (muscle tightness, no tear) received the treatment. Researchers measured pain, strength, and hip mobility to see if it speeds recovery.
