New needle combo may ease stubborn tennis elbow pain
NCT ID NCT07277127
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tested whether adding a needle-based treatment called percutaneous electrolysis to a 2-week exercise program helps people with chronic tennis elbow more than exercise alone. Sixty-eight adults with MRI-confirmed tennis elbow for at least 3 months took part. The goal was to see if the combo reduces pain and improves hand and arm function better than just stretching and strengthening.
