Can a zinc supplement tame your heartburn? remote study investigates
NCT ID NCT07379645
Summary
This study aims to see if a dietary supplement called PepZinGI can reduce the severity and frequency of heartburn triggered by food. Fifty adults with food-triggered heartburn will take the supplement and a placebo for one week each, tracking their symptoms and sleep quality remotely using surveys and wearable devices. The goal is to understand if this over-the-counter product provides better relief from occasional heartburn compared to a dummy pill.
