Minty fresh relief? study tests peppermint scent for Post-Birth bladder problems
NCT ID NCT03319498
Summary
This study tested whether inhaling peppermint oil vapor could help new mothers who were having trouble emptying their bladder after giving birth. It involved 77 women who could not urinate on their own within six hours after delivery. The goal was to see if the scent treatment could help them urinate naturally and avoid needing a catheter.
