Summary
This study tested whether taking peppermint oil supplements could help improve heart health in people with mild to moderate high blood pressure. Forty participants who were not on blood pressure medication took either peppermint oil or a placebo. Researchers measured blood pressure, cholesterol, body fat, and even mood and sleep quality to see if the natural supplement made a difference.
