Summary
This study followed 37 healthy adults running an ultratrail race to learn how their bodies respond during the event. Researchers measured blood markers, muscle damage, strength, and activity levels before, during, and after the race. The goal was to better understand training habits, performance factors, and differences between male and female runners. No treatment or intervention was tested.
