NCT ID NCT03723291
First seen Mar 10, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study looked at whether adding pentoxifylline and vitamin E to standard rehabilitation exercises helps reduce fibrosis (stiffness) caused by radiation therapy in head and neck cancer survivors. Fifty adults who had radiation at least a year ago and were cancer-free took part. The main goal was to see if a larger trial is possible, not to prove the treatment works.
