Summary

This study looks at two ways to manage pain in older adults (65+) having hip fracture surgery. One group gets a standard femoral nerve block, the other gets that plus a newer PENG block. The goal is to see if the combination reduces pain during spinal anesthesia setup and lowers the need for opioid painkillers in the first 24 hours after surgery.
