New combo therapy targets rare bile duct cancer gene

Summary

This study tests whether combining two drugs (pemigatinib and durvalumab) can shrink or control advanced bile duct cancer that has a specific FGFR2 gene change. About 38 adults whose cancer has not responded to prior treatment will receive daily pills and an IV infusion every 3 weeks. The goal is to see how many patients have their tumors shrink or stop growing.
