Magnetic fields may help kids with spina bifida bladder issues

NCT ID NCT04187027

Summary

This study tested whether a non-invasive therapy using pulsed electromagnetic fields could improve bladder control in children with spina bifida. Forty children, aged 4 to 12, were divided into two groups. One group received standard medical care, while the other received standard care plus the electromagnetic therapy for three months to see if it helped with urine flow and bladder capacity.
