Can a medical device help heal ankle fusions faster?

NCT ID NCT07282067

Summary

This study looked back at medical records to see if using a bone growth stimulator device helps people heal better after ankle fusion surgery. Researchers examined 200 adults who had ankle fusion surgery or treatment for a previous fusion that didn't heal properly. They compared healing rates between those who used the stimulator device and those who did not.
