Summary
This study tested a new, longer-acting version of an existing cholesterol medication called pemafibrate. It involved 60 adults with high triglycerides and cholesterol to see if the new pill worked as well as the standard one. Researchers compared how the body processed the drug and its effects on blood fat levels over time.
