Pilot study questions: can we test walking sooner after major hip fracture surgery?
NCT ID NCT07189156
Summary
This is a small pilot study to see if a larger, more definitive trial is possible. It aims to find out if surgeons and patients are willing to participate in a study comparing immediate walking versus waiting 6-12 weeks after surgery for serious pelvis or hip socket fractures. The main goal is to check if enough people will join, follow the walking instructions, and return for follow-up visits, while monitoring for safety issues.
