Computer models could revolutionize pelvic sarcoma surgery planning

Summary

This study aims to create personalized computer walking models for people with pelvic sarcoma, a rare bone cancer. The models will help doctors plan the best surgery and rehabilitation to maximize each patient's ability to walk after treatment. About 130 adults who are scheduled for or have had a specific type of pelvic surgery at MD Anderson Cancer Center will participate.
