Womb-Saving surgery showdown: which fix works best for pelvic organ prolapse?
NCT ID NCT06982157
First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looked at 111 women with pelvic organ prolapse (when pelvic organs drop into the vagina). It compared two types of surgery that keep the uterus in place: one done through the vagina and the other using a tiny camera in the belly. The goal was to see which method works better and has fewer side effects over two years. The results help doctors choose the best surgery for each woman.
