First seen Mar 06, 2026 · Last updated Apr 24, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This early-phase study is testing whether a minimally-invasive procedure using special light-activated nails can stabilize pelvic bone tumors and improve patients' ability to function. About 50 adults with cancer that has spread to the pelvis will receive the procedure. The main goals are to see if the treatment is safe and if it leads to early improvements in mobility and pain within 3 months.
