Surgery vs. rehab: new study aims to find best path for elderly pelvic fracture recovery
NCT ID NCT06496867
Summary
This pilot study is testing which treatment works better for older adults with a specific type of pelvic fracture from a simple fall. It will compare early surgery to non-surgical care with physical therapy. The goal is to see if one approach helps patients walk better, spend less time in the hospital, and have a better recovery over one year.
