Could your hip pain be linked to your pelvic floor?

NCT ID NCT06470620

Summary

This study aimed to understand if there is a relationship between how well a woman's pelvic floor muscles work and her experience of chronic hip pain. Researchers compared 51 women with hip pain to women without pain, measuring muscle strength, movement, and anxiety levels in a single session. The goal was to gather knowledge that might help guide future treatments, not to test a specific therapy.
