Simple belt may boost recovery for new moms with pelvic pain

NCT ID NCT07440862

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a pelvic support belt to pelvic floor exercises helps new mothers with symphysis pubis dysfunction (pelvic joint pain after childbirth). About 48 women will be split into two groups: one does exercises plus uses a belt, the other does exercises only. Researchers will measure pain, disability, and daily function to see which approach works better.
