First seen Dec 12, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding pelvic floor muscle exercises to deep breathing can reduce pain and improve quality of life in women with painful periods. Forty women with primary dysmenorrhea will be split into two groups: one doing both exercises, the other only deep breathing. Researchers will measure pain, menstrual symptoms, and well-being before and after treatment.
