First seen Jun 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looked at how the pelvic bone moves after a total hip replacement. Researchers used a new ultrasound-based device to measure pelvic tilt in different positions (sitting, standing, lying down) before and after surgery. The goal was to understand if hip replacement changes pelvic movement, which could help prevent dislocations. The study included 15 adults with hip arthritis who were scheduled for hip replacement.
