NCT ID NCT05652686
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 23, 2026 · Updated 35 times
Summary
This study tests a new drug called peluntamig (PT217) in people with certain neuroendocrine cancers, such as small cell lung cancer and neuroendocrine prostate cancer. The drug works by targeting two proteins (DLL3 and CD47) found on cancer cells. The trial will first find the safest dose, then test it alone or with chemotherapy or immunotherapy. About 203 participants will take part to see if the drug is safe and effective.

What this could mean
Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.
Active substance
Peluntamig (PT217) (a bispecific antibody targeting DLL3 and CD47)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a new treatment option for several aggressive neuroendocrine cancers that currently have limited therapies.
What could go wrong
This is an early-phase trial (phase 1/2) with a small number of participants, so safety and effectiveness are not yet proven. The drug may cause side effects or fail to show benefit.
Conditions
