New hope for dialysis patients: Long-Acting anemia drug under study

Summary
This study looks at a new long-acting drug called pegmolesatide for treating anemia in people with chronic kidney disease who are on dialysis. The drug is already approved for some patients, but this trial focuses on those switching from another type of anemia medication. About 96 adults will receive the drug for 12 weeks and be followed for 16 weeks to see how well it works and if it is safe.
