First seen Jan 08, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 15 times

Summary

This study tests a new drug (PEG-G-CSF) to prevent neutropenia, a condition where white blood cells drop dangerously low after chemotherapy. About 250 female breast cancer patients will receive either the new drug or an existing one to compare safety and effectiveness. The goal is to see if the new drug can reduce the time patients have severe neutropenia during their first chemo cycle.
