First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study will test whether peer education works better than standard classroom teaching to raise awareness about secondhand and thirdhand tobacco smoke among 116 university students in a geriatric care program. Participants will be split into two groups and their knowledge will be measured before and 21 days after the training. The goal is to find a more effective way to educate future health professionals about protecting themselves and vulnerable elderly people from tobacco smoke residues.
