Can friends help friends get birth control? new study tests the idea
NCT ID NCT06048328
Summary
This study is testing a training program that teaches women who use contraception how to talk to their friends who want to prevent pregnancy but aren't using birth control. The goal is to see if this peer support approach helps more women in Uganda access family planning methods. Researchers will measure if friends in the social network start using contraception after six months.
