Buddy system tested to ease nursing Students' First-Day jitters
NCT ID NCT07198178
Summary
This study looked at whether pairing first-year nursing students with experienced fourth-year peers during their first clinical placement would help them feel less stressed and more prepared. Researchers compared two groups of students over a 10-day period to see if the peer support made a difference in their confidence and readiness. The goal was to find better ways to support students during this challenging and often anxiety-filled part of their training.
