Summary
This study tested whether a 10-week volunteer-led peer support group (called PEER) helps adults with mental health difficulties recover better than just regular services. About 299 people took part. The program focuses on building hope, connections, and a sense of control. The goal is to see if this group support improves personal recovery and quality of life.
