Can talking to fellow patients help control diabetes?
NCT ID NCT07145983
Summary
This study tested whether joining a peer support group helps people with diabetes better manage their condition. Researchers randomly assigned 120 patients to either join a support group or continue their usual care. They measured if the group improved how well people took their medicine, practiced self-care, and understood their diabetes.
