Can a Mentor's guidance ease the scary jump to adult eating disorder care?

NCT ID NCT05543044

Summary

This study is testing whether connecting young people (ages 16-24) with a trained peer mentor makes it easier for them to move from youth-focused to adult-focused eating disorder treatment. Participants are paired with a mentor for 3-6 months for guidance and support. The researchers want to see if this approach is helpful, practical, and acceptable to patients, their carers, and the mentors themselves.
