Can student buddies teach better bedside manner?

NCT ID NCT07105605

Summary

This study tested whether a peer mentoring program could help nursing students improve their therapeutic communication skills, especially when working with children. Researchers divided 73 nursing students into two groups: one received extra one-on-one coaching from fellow students, while the other followed the standard curriculum. The goal was to see if learning from peers made students better at connecting with and caring for young patients.
