Can student buddies fix a critical shortage of speech and hearing therapists?
NCT ID NCT07308821
Summary
This study aims to see if a semester-long peer-mentoring program can help undergraduate students become more interested in careers like speech-language pathology and audiology. It will involve about 65 students in a specific course, comparing those who get a mentor to those who do not. The goal is to learn how to better support future clinicians to help fill a major workforce shortage.
