First seen Feb 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study will test whether education led by trained peers (people who have had TB themselves) can improve treatment success in adults with drug-susceptible pulmonary tuberculosis in southern Ethiopia. About 250 participants will be assigned to either standard care or standard care plus peer-led sessions. The goal is to see if this approach leads to better treatment completion, quality of life, and fewer depressive symptoms.
