Students teach students to stop HIV

NCT ID NCT07053527

Summary

This study tests whether training student peer educators can help more young adults at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) learn about and start using PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV. It will enroll about 123 students aged 18-26 who are not currently taking PrEP. Researchers will measure changes in awareness and track how many students begin the medication after the peer-led education.
