Student-to-Student teaching put to the test for safer nurses

NCT ID NCT07271095

Summary

This study tested whether a peer-led education program could improve nursing students' basic math and medication calculation skills. Fifty-five first-year nursing students were randomly assigned to either receive three weeks of peer-led training or continue with their standard coursework. Researchers measured changes in their ability to solve math problems and correctly calculate medication dosages before and after the program.
