Student teachers boost nursing math skills in new study

Summary
This study looked at whether having older students teach younger ones can improve nursing students' math and drug calculation skills. Fifty-five first-year nursing students took part, with half getting three weeks of peer tutoring. The results showed that peer teaching helped improve their abilities in solving math problems and calculating correct medication doses.
