Summary
This small pilot study tested whether trained peer coaches could help young adults with serious mental illness make better decisions about participating in their communities. Sixteen participants aged 18-30 worked with coaches to identify areas where they wanted to be more involved. The study measured changes in decision-making confidence, satisfaction, and actual community participation.
