New study tests therapy combo to help kids regain arm use after stroke

NCT ID NCT07244042

Summary

This study is testing which of two physical therapy approaches works better to improve arm and hand function in children who have had a stroke. Twenty children, aged 5 to 13, will be randomly assigned to receive either a standard therapy or a combination of two therapies over six weeks. Researchers will measure how well the children can use their affected arm in daily activities to see if one method leads to better recovery.
