Summary

This study tested a new two-drug combination (KAF156 plus a special form of lumefantrine) in 295 children aged 6 months to 18 years with uncomplicated malaria. The goal was to see if the treatment safely clears the parasite and prevents the infection from coming back. The approach aims to provide a new option that may reduce the risk of drug resistance.
