Finding the right dose: study tests treatment for rare childhood nerve disease
NCT ID NCT03684018
Summary
This study aims to find the best dose of a medicine called Privigen (IVIG) to control symptoms and prevent relapse in children aged 2-17 with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP), a rare nerve disorder. Researchers will compare two different dose levels to see which one is more effective at keeping the disease stable and which has fewer side effects. The goal is to help children with CIDP live with fewer symptoms and less disability.
