Summary

This study aimed to test the safety and effectiveness of a once-daily pill called vadadustat for treating anemia (low red blood cells) in children with chronic kidney disease. It was designed for kids who had not yet received standard injectable anemia treatments. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
