Summary

This study tested whether adding electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to a 4-week cycling and strengthening program helps children with cerebral palsy improve their balance, walking, and mobility more than exercise alone. Twenty-six children aged 6 to 10 with spastic cerebral palsy who could walk independently took part. The goal was to see if the extra stimulation made a real difference in their everyday movement.
