First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to a 4-week cycling program helps children with cerebral palsy improve balance, walking, and mobility. 26 children aged 6-10 took part, with half receiving EMS during cycling and half doing the cycling program alone. The goal was to see if the extra stimulation leads to greater gains in movement.
